Suggest artists for a Share the Love Feature!
I'm a bit late in getting this out but being sick took a while to recover from, still am now - but here we are! This will be the April edition :) Suggest artists! You can suggest yourself, friends, etc :) And go!
Sharing the Love (March)
I'll try to keep this an end of month thing, since it took me a little bit to get to - I got busy and frustrated and it took a while for it to wear off so I could focus :) Inspirelirium I'm not so good with critiqueing 3D art but I will suggest what I can! The most important and first out to me is contrasts! Or values, whichever term you prefer. I learned about values properly watching some traditional artists (Lisa Lachri mostly) and it taught me a lot. For these 3, your eye is drawn to the brightest part of the image first and in these cases its not focal points of the art. I adore the warming colours of the Isis artwork and I do gravitate to her eyes after looking to the bright yellow patch. I'd find a way to paint/shine a light on the focus of the artwork, which includes the subject

In the wake of Buzzly collapsing, which has me SO upset and my own current feeling angry and upset at things beyond my control, I want to do something fun a positive here so, I'm starting up an old thing we used to do on here at times. Which I will try to do once a month too! Its a comment for a feature! Any and all who comment on this journal, I will go and find my favourite 3 pieces art in your account and put it in this journal! If this journal gets too long I will make another; just like I have previously! If you would like me to offer pointers for your art please feel free to add this - Its been a while since I did constructive criticism. You are also welcome to recommend a friend instead, but only one or two. I won't make this a rule but I would love if when you comment on this journal if you could do your own journal too, to share the love and try to stir up some old fun and love. And most importantly, share the love
